Teachers - Job requirements: To work with us, you must be enrolled in Oregon’s Central Background Registry. Also, within your first 30 days of employment, you’ll need to have or obtain an Oregon Food Handler’s Card and Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification. In addition, you’ll need to complete Oregon’s Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect course, an Introduction to Child Care Health & Safety, and a Sleep Safety for Oregon’s Infants course. Other required classes include: Signs and symptoms of illness, Recognizing and reporting Child Abuse, blood borne pathogens, shaken baby, Abusive head trauma, Administration of Medication, and Emergency Preparedness
